National Advisors for Chapters selection process

 

After the June application deadline, the following steps will take place:

 

1.     National Advisors for Chapters (NAC) Nominating Committee reviews the applications.

2.     Interviews of selected candidates are conducted by the NAC Nominating Committee.

3.     NAC Nominating Committee presents and recommends selected candidates to the full NAC for a vote.

4.     The recommendation is sent to the ASTD Board of Directors for a vote.

5.     Candidates will be notified of selection by the end of August and should plan to attend the 2012 ASTD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC) October 19-20 and NAC meeting October 21-22.


National chapter-related committee selection process (click here to apply)


After the July 31 national chapter-related committee applications deadline, the following steps will take place to select committee members:

 

1.     Applications will be sorted by committee preference of applicants. 

 

2.     The committee staff managers will review the applications and determine if the individuals will be a good fit for their committee or better suited for other chapter-related national committees. 

 

3.     Once a pool of candidates is determined for each committee, the staff manager and incoming committee chair will interview candidates. 

 

4.     Candidates will be notified of selection by early September, if not sooner.

 

5.     Candidates selected for the ALC PAC should plan to attend the 2012 ASTD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC) October 19-20.
